Fit GD1, GD2 – High coolant temperature warning light flashing or on

Troubleshooting Guide: Symptoms, Causes, and improvement measures

Description of the defect

Some engines have cavities in the cylinder head during casting, and when engine oil penetrates into the cooling water passage and swells the rubber gasket of the radiator cap, the cooling water gradually decreases and the engine oil is used as is.
If you continue to do so, the high water temperature warning light will flash and may turn on if the water temperature rises further.

Improvement details

Check the rubber gasket of the cooling water and radiator cap for swelling, and if there is oil contamination, replace the engine set with a new cylinder head, radiator tank and cooling water hoses with new ones, and clean the heating system water channels and radiator auxiliary tank. The heating system water channels and radiator auxiliary tanks should be cleaned.
