Description of Defect
Lancer – Poor clutch pedal return
In the power transmission unit, there is a part of the inner surface of the clutch master cylinder that has defective surface treatment, causing abnormal wear on the primary cup of the piston. If the clutch continues to be used in this condition, the clutch pedal may not return properly, the clutch may not disengage, or abnormal noise may occur.
Improvement Details
Replace the clutch master cylinder with an improved one.
