Pajero – Warning light on
In engines with turbochargers, some engines are equipped with engine boost sensors with different specifications for fuel control, and during acceleration, a false signal from the boost sensor causes the computer controlling the engine (engine ECU) to enter fail mode, lighting a warning light and limiting the engine output. The warning light comes on and the output of the prime mover is restricted.
Improvement Details
Replace the engine boost sensor with an improved one.
