Description of Defect
As there is no clearance between the brake pipe for the front wheels of the braking system and the bump stopper of the buffer system, there is a risk of contact between the brake pipe and the washer of the bump stopper of the buffer system in situations such as stepping off the kerb with the handlebars turned fully up. Even if the brake pipes make contact, the brake pipes will not be damaged, brake fluid will leak and braking power will not be reduced.
Improvement Details
The brake pipes concerned will be inspected for damage and those vehicles with contact marks on the brake pipes will be replaced with countermeasures.
