Engine Stall Issue in Mitsubishi Dion

Engine Stall Issue in Mitsubishi Dion
Due to an inadequate printed circuit board for the generator start-up circuit on the back of the combination meter, thermal expansion caused by rising interior temperatures and the meter’s self-heating may cause excessive stress on the pattern, leading to potential breakage. If the parking brake is activated at start-up, the generator may not start, and in the worst case, the vehicle may stall while stopped. The generator will start when the parking brake is released.

The generator start-up circuit on the printed circuit board has been updated to a countermeasure circuit to address the issue.
