Dion – Engine stalls when the vehicle stopped

Change the generator start-up circuit on the printed circuit board to a countermeasure circuit

Description of defect

Due to an inadequate printed circuit board for the generator start-up circuit on the back of the combination meter, the thermal expansion of the printed circuit board caused by rising interior temperatures and the meter’s self-heating may cause excessive stress in the pattern, which may break due to repetition. As a result, if the parking brake is activated at start-up, the generator may not start, and in the worst case, the vehicle may stall while stopped.
The generator will start when the parking brake is released.
