CR-V – The battery is dead and the engine won’t start
Due to an inappropriate auto-retractor mirror control program for the driver’s side power window switch, excessive standby current may continue to flow if locking and unlocking operations are performed using a smart key with a different mirror storage setting. Therefore, if the vehicle is parked for a long period of time without being used, the battery may run down and the engine may become unable to start.
Improvement Details
Replace the driver’s side power window switch with a countermeasure item.
