Forester – Poor return of accelerator pedal

On accelerator pedals for electronically controlled throttles, if the accelerator pedal is depressed diagonally sideways with an extremely high force beyond the normally expected limit, in very rare cases the centre of the pedal may shift to the right sideways and part of the pedal may interfere with the edge of the floor-mounted stopper, momentarily delaying the pedal’s return.

Replace the stopper with an improved one.
