High Temperature Indication in Mitsubishi RVR and RVR Sport Gear
The capacity setting of the fusible link for the radiator fan and condenser fan is incorrect, so when the fan in question rotates at high rpm, the capacity is insufficient.
If the vehicle continues to be used as it is, in the worst case, the fusible link may melt, causing the fan to stop operating, the water temperature gauge to show a high temperature and the air conditioning system to malfunction.
Improvement Details
Inspect the capacity of the fusible links for the radiator fan and condenser fan, and replace any fusible link fitted with an unmeasured one with a countermeasure with increased capacity.
