Description of Defect
Mazda2 – Defect information
1) Due to an incorrect setting of the electrical resistance value of the segment circuit that displays the amount of fuel remaining in the fuel gauge in the combination meter, the fuel gauge may not display the “F” level even if the vehicle has been refuelled to full tank.
2) During the assembly process of the front wiper blade frame, some of the paint film has been damaged. As a result, there is a risk that rainwater, etc. may penetrate into the relevant caulking area and cause rusting.
3) During the vehicle assembly process, some evaporative hoses have come loose from the clips that align the fuel hose and evaporative hose.
Improvement Details
1) All vehicles will have the combination meter replaced with a countermeasure.
2) Replace the front wiper blade frame with a countermeasure.
3) All vehicles will be inspected and if the evaporative hose is detached from the clip, the hose will be correctly fitted to the clip.
