Correct the programme to a countermeasure programme
Description of defect
1- In the connectivity master unit, the connection setting to the server for the connectivity service is incorrect, which may result in the inability to connect to the server and use of the connectivity service.
2- In the body control module, an inappropriate key authentication programme may allow the doors to be locked using a smartphone app even when the keys are left inside the vehicle, which could result in the keys being locked in the vehicle.
3- In the in-vehicle communicator, an inappropriate communication control programme may cause communication with the connectivity master unit to stop.
As a result, there is a risk that voice recognition and hands-free calls using the in-vehicle microphone may become unavailable, and the Connected Service may become unavailable due to an inability to connect to the server for the Connected Service.
Improvement details
1- Correct the programme of the connectivity master unit in all vehicles to a countermeasure programme.
2- Correct the key authentication programme for the body control module in all vehicles to a countermeasure programme.
3- Correct the communication control programme of the in-vehicle communication unit in all vehicles to a countermeasure programme.
