Mazda3 – Warning on display

Mazda3 – Warning on display
Due to an inappropriate Smart Brake Support (SBS) control programme in the vehicle control computer, the system may fail to correctly recognise vehicles parked on the shoulder of an S-junction, large road signs, etc.
As a result, even though there is no possibility of a collision, an alarm may sound to warn of an approaching obstacle, a warning may appear on the display, and in the worst case, the Collision Damage Mitigation Brakes may be activated and emergency braking may be applied.

All vehicles will have the SBS control programme in the vehicle control computer corrected to a countermeasure programme.
In addition, as the specification of the SBS activation setting has been changed for some vehicles, the instruction manual and meter programme will be changed at the same time.
