VEZEL – Cannot run after stopping
In vehicles equipped with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission, due to an incorrect programme in the automatic transmission control computer, when the hub of the first gear in the transmission is worn out and the brake pedal is released just before stopping on a gentle downhill, the first gear will not engage, the transmission warning light will flash and the meter The transmission warning light may flash, the meter display may show “Transmission check” and the vehicle may not be able to start after coming to a stop.
The vehicle can be started by operating the power switch.
Improvement Details
The automatic transmission control computer will be replaced with a countermeasure programme.
