Our Shipping Methods

Parts will be shipped from Japan with various shipping options.

  • EMS
    EMS offers affordable shipping rates, but it has size limitations that vary by country. Furthermore, EMS may not accept commercial auto parts in some countries. In such cases, DHL is the only available shipping option.
  • UGX (Universal Global Express)
  • DHL
    The shipping cost is calculated based on volumetric weight, and the higher of the actual weight or volumetric weight will be applied.
  • Sea mail
  • A third-party logistics provider that handles export shipments
    We may be able to reduce shipping costs by entrusting delivery to a third-party logistics provider that handles export shipments and holds a dedicated DHL oversized cargo account.
    Please note that in such cases, your personal information — including your name, address, phone number, and email address — will be shared with the forwarding agent, subject to your consent. Your prior consent is required to use this service.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

  • You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped.
  • Our office is located in a rural area without a nearby DHL office.
    Therefore, it takes 2-3 business days, excluding weekends, for the item’s status to be updated in the DHL system after it leaves my town and arrives at DHL Nagoya.
  • The estimated delivery date is provided for reference only. Depending on postal conditions and the circumstances of the shipping company, delivery may take longer than expected.
    We cannot be held responsible for delays, and no compensation will be provided in such cases.

Shipping Fee Changes

  • Shipping costs are subject to change each month due to fluctuations in carrier rates and fuel surcharges.
  • Please note that from September to the end of December, international shipping services experience congestion due to the Christmas season. As a result, additional shipping fees may be charged.

Lost orders and Damage in Transit

  • Please let us know if there are any problems when you receive it and damages to the part or packaging due to random inspections at the airport.
  • We are not responsible for parts that are damaged or lost during delivery, or for parts that are damaged when inspected by customs.
    If your order arrives damaged, we will file a claim with the delivery company or customs.
    If this happens, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the items.
  • We are not responsible if you provide an incorrect delivery address and are unable to collect your package.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

  • We do not have access to information regarding customs duties or clearance fees that may apply in your country.
  • We are not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).
  • Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
  • The Customer agrees to pay any GST and any other government duties, levies or taxes payable in respect of the items supplied by Auto Parts Box Japan.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes

We do not handle the export of parts that require the submission of the following documents to customs:

  • Customer’s National Identity Document Number (DNI)
  • Customer’s Unique Taxpayer Registry Number (RUC)
  • Customer’s Individual Taxpayer Registration Number (CPF)
  • Customer’s Corporate Taxpayer Registration Number (CNPJ)
  • Customer’s Importer License
  • Export Permit from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, METI
  • General Product Safety Regulation(GPSR)
  • Automotive Parts Import Restrictions
  • Other documents with complicated procedures
